Help! Seatruck stuck
Hey, so far I've been loving this game, but I ran into a problem (which is entirely my own doing lol). I parked my seatruck on the shore of Delta Station, but I placed it in a way that I can't move it anymore because it's not in the water. Whenever I leave the area, it just gets worse because the seatruck loads BEFORE the terrain causing it to fall into the ground. So I'm stranded on Delta Station and I can't go back home to craft anything that might help. Does anyone have any idea how to move it back into the water? I really don't want to lose this truck...

Ah...I really hope you had not save after the truck stuck. Else you can try to nudge the truck by ramming it into deeper waters

What do you mean you're stranded? Base too deep to swim to? You can craft stuff at the pod.

He beached his seatruck.

Exactly. I tried wedging it back into the water but to no avail.

Bad news then.you might need a prawn suit to ram it into water then.

You can also try seaglide to attempt to glide jump on to the top of seatruck.

Right, but delta island is within swimming distance of the drop pod.

You could try the console.
Get to a place higher than the truck and use "warpforward" to appear on top of the truck. You may have to experiment with the distance. Enter the truck then try to drive it back into the water.

If you can get into the truck again, you might be able to back it out, but it needs to be at least partly in the water, I think. You might also be able to push it with the prawn, but I wouldn't bet on it (I have never tried this, so can't guarantee either way). If neither works, you might need to count this as a loss and craft a new one (don't know if you can destroy it by hitting it with the prawn).

I have once beached the seatruck on the shore near Delta station, but was eventually able to jiggle it out into the water. Have also lost a couple of prawns when they got hopelessly stuck and I didn't have a suitable save to go back to. Sucks every time.

I had this happen in the original Subnautica where my Seamoth was pushed through the terrain by a Leviathan while I was out gathering resources. Using the "warpforward" console command worked since graphic terrain collisions in that game engine were one way. You couldn't drive a vehicle above the terrain to below it but you could do the reverse. Not sure if this game engine mechanic still works in BZ.

Alternatively, you can use the "dig" console command to remove the terrain that your truck is stranded on or embedded within. Unfortunately, using the console under any circumstance in BZ is currently considered a cheat and will stop all subsequent achievements from being recognized. That wasn't the case in SN.

Thanks for the tips guys, but I'm afraid I can't do anything without the console.
Meaning I have to give up achievements. Really sucks :(
I could make another seatruck though, and disable the beacon of my old one, but that would be a bit of a sad ending...

It did be interesting centerpiece for a base in delta reminding the pain of beaching trucks.

not even with prawnsuit?
that thing can easily a seatruck, if you have trouble moving it with modules, detach the modules first then
Sadly I don't have either of those

Honestly, the simplest solution is to simply make a new Seatruck. They're not terribly expensive to build. Yes, it's a nuisance, but there are more than enough resources on the map to easily accommodate making more.

I have beached a Seatruck on an iceberg before. If you get in a prawn suit you can walk up to it and push it to nudge it back into the water as long as the Seatruck didn't get stuck behind the terrain or something weird.
