Better make a hardsave, before finishing.
Oh, wait, this is for Subnautica. I'm not actually sure about Below Zero.
(And I can't check because I don't have it installed any more. :P)
It's the same in both games. Once you complete the game, you can reload from your last save. There is no way to save after a "point of not return" in either, so nothing to worry about. Just make sure the final save is from a point where you'd want to continue playing.
Andreas blocked me as of our disagreement regarding the base building. He thinks the map is too small and there are no places to build a proper base.
While this weak statement can either perfectly applied for original Subnautica if you want to (map is too big, where to build a base properly hun? yadda yadda yadda
Despite of him having some fair arguments about other stuff (story, missing plants from the original game and a few more), I think he simply dislikes this game in a braindead way.
It was even debunked, that the two taken places Omega Lab and Marguerit's Base cannot be used for base building, which was either one of his arguments.
I haven't blocked him, as I like when people block me and I can post freely about what I think of their stance, without them reflecting on my opinion. ^^
