Haven't seen a single iceworm
Did it happen to any of you? I played around 20 hours, finished the game. I even travelled in ghost mode and teleported to their spawn location but i couldn't find any. It's kinda annoying.

There is a dead body of one. Did you find that?

Travel in their area like normal players, instead of teleporting around, and you'll meet one more sooner than later. With 20 hours you didn't really _play_ the game, you just rushed through.. and missed so many things, you didn't even know they exist.

I had the same thing happen on my first playthrough, I only started seeing it once I got to the final section of the area where the tissue sample is, and I was jumping and walking around with the Prawn suit the whole time.
But on my second and third playthroughs I saw the worm throughout the entire area and did nothing different, so it might be a bug or something.

I knew they exist because I saw the dead body that SmooshieBanana is talking about. And i traveled around that area for like 15 mins without any cheats. I only cheated to find them after finishing the game.

Plus I've seen several people saying the same thing too.

Twenty hours is plenty to finish the game. If you rush you can make it much faster.

I didn't finished the game yet but I also made it to the Arctic Spires (where it is supposed to be triggered) I hovered around the entire area countless times, spend hours to find something but no :( there is none.

How did you solve? (without spoilers pls)

I didn't do anything as far as I know, they just started spawning in the final section of the Spires and only in that section, I didn't see a single one on the way back.

There are plenty of them in the Arctic Spires. They are pretty annoying, but they barely dent the Prawn Suit.

Thanks to all. I've only managed to see them by using console commands:
spawn icewormspawner and then iceworm but the graphics were terrible their skin is all black (maybe because of unnatural triggering by console)
And as I learned so far they are not actually "in the game" and not like other creatures they are animatronix triggered by player. Anyway it would be nice if I encountered naturally while playing. That's really ruined the game experience.

I would post int he bug forum, but first, check the faqs and make sure you have changed all of your graphics settings for the troubleshooting like they suggest. If that doesn't fix it, then post in the forum there. Try to add screenshots.

Even though they are triggered by the player, their hunting still looks pretty accurate.
Check out time code 5:00 where one actively hunts my Robin in her Prawn:

In addition to that, check out time code 2:03.
That iceworm clearly got triggered by a snow stalker. ^^

I've seen plenty. Far into the tundra after the bridge. They are more of an annoyance than a threat. You can easily outrun them. No need for vehicles or Prawn Suit. I must admit, they have given me a good scare though. The sound they make underground is pretty unsettling. Makes my whole apartment rumble.

I'm sure that's scripted. Every time I go to that area, that Snow Stalker always gets eaten.

I'm sure that everything in a video game is scripted / coded. ^^

You can even check out how the behavior of the ice worm works in the developer area.
