Squidshark Creature Egg & All Trivalve Locations
I think I've found the eggs for all medium to minor sized creatures so far, except the squidshark. Does this one exist and if so, any hints on where to look for one?

Also, I know there are multiple colors of Trivalves available, I just haven't found them all yet. I found the blue colored ones up in Arctic Spires (on land), and the red colored ones down under the floating rock island in deep lily pad zone. Any hints on remaining color locations?

Thanks!

You can find Squidshark eggs in the same area you found the Yellow Trivalve Eggs. Use a scanner room.

And as far as I know there are only Blue and Yellow Trivalve eggs.

Ive been looking in a location w/ squidshark eggs for yellow trivalve eggs and I cant find'em! All I find are squidshark eggs! I even built a scanner room! I has been looking in the lilypad cave but no luck. Is there another lilypad cave entrance Im supposed 2 find? Am I doing something wrong? Are trivalves not included in creative similar 2 how they took story out of creative? (PLEASE tell me that last questions answer is no!) I have been looking several hours using walkthroughs and guides but they all had the same problem..... ZERO POINT OF REFERENCE! At least without console commands for coordinates. And I prefer not 2 use cheat codes. If anyone can help Id appreciate it! :)

pika, the yellow trivalve eggs are indeed in the Deep Lilypad zone. They are difficult to find and are well-hidden in a little nook. Both are together in one place. A search pattern I'd suggest is to: 1) drop a beacon where you enter the zone (a point of reference), then 2) hug the walls and follow the path down as you circle the zone. Eventually, doing this, you'll run into the path down to the trivalve eggs, and in another spot, you'll find the path down to another key feature in the zone you'll definitely want to check out! I'd do it in a Prawn or Seatruck since the spike traps are an incredible nuisance.

I'll actually have to make another trip down there to try and find the squidshark eggs! I spent an hour down there farming and never managed to find their one little hiding place. I think, aside from the trivalve, squidshark eggs are the rarest in the game.

There are four in a small nook before the drop off to the architect base . Its really hidden along the wall and not well lit at all so you'll have to just hug the wall and try to find it.

I must be in a different cave bcuz I looked in all sorts of places for trivalve eggs and I only found a cave w/ 2 squidshark eggs. I even built a scanner room at 600m and maxed out its range! I have been watching walkthrus and it seems 2 me that, similar to s1's mushroom forest, there r 2 seperate deep lilypad caves, one in an area w/ a shipwreck nearby, and one w/o. I have scoured 4 this shipwreck and couldn't find it nearby. Thats where I came up w/ this theory. That and the lilypads caves in the videos I watched look nothing like the description of the one I found. Is there anyone who can confirm or debunk this 4 me? I would really appreciate it as it would narrow down my search! :)

The information I provided above is current as of EA13. My play through is on survival mode, started fresh in EA13. The yellow trivalves are in the Deep Lilypad zone (depth: 470-600m). I have picked them up this save and have them sitting in my base.

The other zone you're referring to is the either Lilypad zone proper (~140-220m) or the Lilypad Crevasse (~220-280m) where the path to Marg's base and all the sea monkey nests are. The shipwreck you're referring to is the bow of the Mercury 2 (~240m). If you're in either of these two zones, they're awesome and have great music, but there are no trivalves there.

The reason this zone looks different is that it's been getting lot of attention recently. The Lilypad Crevasse got a big update in ~EA12 to make free-diving and getting down to Marg's base easier. The Deep Lilypad zone has had a couple of rounds of updates as the new very of the Precursor sanctuary which houses the Architect skeleton was added and a lot of the secrets down there got moved around. It's been rather disorienting as an EA player to have to relearn the map every time they change it, but that's EA for ya.

Im confused.... while waiting 4 a reply I was doin research. One youtube video said the trivalves were at 600m while another clearly showed 550m..... Some people say u has to go thru a secret cave, while others say they're under a twisty plant, while others still say theyre tucked in a little corner! This is maddening! R the devs just trying 2 figure out where to put these eggs or r half these youtube vids just taking me 4 a joyride?! All I know is I scoured every inch of the cave im in and it looks nothing like the ones in any videos! My cave that i has been exploring glows orange the second u enter it and its packed w/ orange plants, whereas the cave in the videos glows blue and turns orange as u go deeper. Also the walkthru caves had a more barren entrance apparently with orange plant growing more abundant the deeper u go. Also a couple guys pointed out large gates that lead to the eggs. And people on this thread said there was some kind of "Architect Base" in the locale, but all I found was a garden with a fountain in the middle in a land based room thru precursor doors. Can anyone tell me whats goin on?!

Aha! So I have been looking in the wrong spot! Thank u so much! U just saved me so much trouble! :D I'll just has 2 wait until the game comes out of ea and I can watch a finalized location vid. Thanks again!
