I have "lost" a few new entries in the databank because I bring up the menu to do something and accidentally pull up a newly-scanned/downloaded entry that gets marked as "read" before I can actually read it... so I sometimes go back and skim through the entries and have found a few things this way. Perhaps it got similarly buried.
Note that the Deep Twisty Bridges are deeper than the Twisty Bridges. You'll need to look for those holes/pits at the bottom of Twisty Bridges and dive down through those into the deep. Make sure you have the Seaglide to get you down there and back up.
Diamond is plentiful in many areas.
Nothing is stopping you from going deeper.
Seaglide + 2 oxygen tanks and you can beat the game.
Just because your vehicle can't go deeper doesn't mean you can't.
Don't get too attached to your Seatruck, it'll hamper your ability to truly explore.
It's not about bringing the Seatruck with you everywhere. It's about the Seatruck getting YOU everywhere.
I'm still pretty early in the game so I don't have any of those things yet, except the Spy Pengling, which I just made - I found one hole in a base to send it through (driving it was awful!) but all I found was a bunch of batteries and water.
I do have the seaglide but I just have the "high capacity o2 tank" right now, which doesn't get me far.
My current process is to take the seatruck down to 150 meters, then use the seaglide to go as deep as I can, then turn around and head back when my o2 is halfway depleted. Granted, I haven't spent much time perfecting this because I haven't actually found anything down there yet, and didn't want to waste too much time looking if there wasn't anything else in the area.
And as consider building 2 of your best Oxygen Tanks. Have you ever used an Air Bladder? They work very well, rapidly ascending you upward about 100 meters. If you bring two and hotkey each you can basically go from 200 meters down to surface level very fast, provided there are no objectacles to physically block you.
You can grab Diamond by hand in the Koppa Mining site, another place where Air Bladders work great for getting out of. Pop one bladder to ascend the main shaft, then the rest of it + another to get back out to the surface once outside.
I was looking for something like the shale rock in the original Subnautica you had to break open to get the diamonds =D
