That would be a really short game, if thats all an story.
In Subnautica we helped an intelligent thousand year old sentient alien hatch her young, cure the Khaara, save a planet and possibly the Human race and countless other planets and races, learn the secrets behind 4546B, the Precursors, and the Khaara, and manage to find a way off the planet. Every part of the game made me feel like I had over come unsurmountable obstacles.
In Below Zero we find out our Sister killed herself, Alterra isn't big bad evil corp, we sabotage a satelite (following in the footsteps of our eco terrorist sister) and then build a body for an alien.
Wow. I want....my money back.
