Fabricator room flooded, Can't fabricate parts for Al-An

I've been searching but couldn't find an answer anywhere. I have collected all three blue prints for Al-an. Went down the blue then red crystal cave and entered the fabricator base. but it is flooded? The three fabricators for each part don't do anything so i am completely stuck. I been there before and then it was filled with air. Anyone know what to do or do I have to start a new game? (really don't want to after all the work.)

The life pod should still be in the shallows. that has a fabricator guaranteed.

Body parts can't be created with the regular lifepod fabricator, they need to be created with the three bespoke fabricators in the fabricator base.

Have you restarted the game already? You could try a couple of ways where you switch between water and air environments. Entering/exiting vehicles, base, moonpool and air filled alien bases. And if nothing works I am pretty sure everything that comes after storywise is not done yet, so there is really no need to start a new game.

You could also try console "warpforward 10" into or out of the base.
But like was already mentioned. This is the end of the game so far anyway.

I tried quiting and reloading, quit the game and reloaded save. Also been to different areas with water to air and air to water rooms and seatruck but to no avail. But yeah it is the last part for now so maybe with the next update it'll work itself out. Otherwise I will just have to start a new game when the update doesn't fix it..

you could build a small station for the quick job. Build a small outpost, solar panel, hatch, fabricator, build it an done. On how to save your base other than the usual reinforce/repair i got no idea.

Fabricator base is not a human base. It has its own alien fabricator that you cannot make. Also you cannot make the alien parts in an Alterra fabricator.
Perhaps the devs should consider renaming the base. Its actually a medical facility.
