How do i get with the prawn there?? I use the snowfox boost to jump the cliffs and get to the Spires entrance
You can drive the prawn all the way to the basin and jump up onto the walkway with jump jets, then just walk to the spires over the bridge.
Before I used the Console Commands, I did find the Thumper blueprint and crafted one legitimately, used it, but it was then to no use when it was only a temporary distraction. At first I thought a four-slot item that is there to literally help you survive an unkillable land leviathan was more permanent, but then after that reveal I thought "did they expect us to craft a bunch more Thumpers to fill our inventory space just so we can explore this big area without Ice Worm attacks??". Therefore my use of Console Commands felt more fair and reasonable in that situation.
So yeah, if I need to return to the Spires I'll be sure to bring my Prawn Suit. Thanks.
In experimental I was actually disappointed at how easy it was to avoid the worm even on foot.
The Prawn suit does make life easier, although there is a bit of an incentive to "accidentally" knock out an over-agressive Stalker or two.
I'm in main build. Not sure if I want to go experimental in case that will affect my save (even if I start in a new save slot) and if it will be so buggy it'll break the game. I have never played experimental builds before.
Oh, no problem with the Snow Stalkers, I kill them anyway with my Stasis Rifle+Thermoblade combo if they get in my way or start pouncing me.
