Lead!
I've been to a lot of places and it seems like I get maybe 1 lead out of every 3 or 4 times I break open one of the rocks for it. Considering how few those rocks seem to be and how many things need lead in their recipe it's pretty frustrating.

Lead is fairly uncommon last I checked. Lead recipes tend to need 2 or 3, so the demand is higher than the supply. I don't know where any lead drilling is at, maybe it's not in yet?

I dunno, I find it more frustrating how top heavy the tech tree is. So many items need microchips and advanced wiring kits, the latter being a 10 ingredient craft. It places high pressure on copper (until copper drilling), and is a serious strain on table coral supplies. The twisty bridges only has so much! I'd definitely want to see more computer chip loots and maybe some table coral love.

To the best of my knowledge, all of the deposits that give copper/silver/lead/gold will do so every 1 out of 3 times at the moment. This is likely to change as time goes on.

Lead does seem to be limiting. Make a scanner room and put it over the twisty bridges. There's more down there than you realize. And while you gather up the hard to see lead, be on the lookout for table coral. easy to spot because it has red lights

Are you guys playing in Experimental? In the normal game, after starting new with the salad update, I find loads of Galena outcrops in the starting area and the thermal spires around Rocket Island (the one with Delta Base Dock)... Got a small locker full of it.

I find lead to be annoying but not a problem. The twisty bridges have a lot, most of which is easily overlooked if you don't have the handheld resource scanner due to all the hiding places. It's easy to get 8-10 pieces in a visit, assuming I ignore all the titanium and take the repulsion cannon along for the sharks. I would love for there to be a drillable source of lead, though.

if you have a base in the starting location , just build a scanner room and search galena outcrop , is all around super commond , just hard to see sometimes
