Where is Alan

Been quite a few places now, have rebreather, 2nd air tank, sea truck been to a few bases on the surface. Nevr met Al'an or Alan. Bugged?

In the twisty bridges area. Around 200 meters ish IIRC... look for architect/precursor pillars.

Look for blinking things and follow them.

From your Survival Pod:

Head toward the Twisty bridges (South/South East).
Look for the bridge that loops vertically to your right/East).
Going about 100m down and looking around that area, you should find the Rebreather BP.
From the location of the Rebreather, head DOWN and back North a bit.
You should see flickering Alien Green Pillars. Head toward them, further North and into a cave network. You should see pairs of the green pillars the further in you go.
Keep going through the pairs of pillars, and you should see the forcefield. When you approach close enough, it will drop. Head through, and head all the way to the containment chamber.

Thanks for all the replies. I found him not long after jc82 replied, but was playing away :)

I couldn't believe how many times I had actually gone past the sort of entrance way to him without noticing haha!

Lol, that morse code SOS and the few comments in the dialog pointed me to it. Fear of running out of air made me turn back literally before the last turn of that path. Eventually I got better gear and went for it... and so wanted to kick myself, I could have had it a week or even two earlier.
