Impossible to build the cold suit?

I've gotten the cold suit and I need 4 snow stalker fur for it, problem is, I haven't seen a single snow stalker at all. None at all. I know there's more but that's where the ice worm is and I die to the cold before I get to the other end of the passages cuz I can't run without dying to the ice worm.

How am I meant to make a cold suit to survive the cold if the only places I can go to possibly get the materials are off limits due to the cold and lack of them. I don't play experimental and this is a fresh save on a fresh game that I downloaded onto a new PC about 1 hour and 57 minutes ago.

Snow Stalkers are found on the Large Island, head SW ish from your Drop Pod until you see 100's of Jellyfish (you'll need a Seatruck & Depth upgrade), there's a small tunnel through the ice that leads up to the Island, you'll find Snow Stalker Fur on the floor wherever there's Snow Stalkers (it's white and usually found on ice so it's easy to mistake it for snow)

Alright, I go searching for some tomorrow, might take me a while since it's a new save and I don't gotta seatruck. Y'know where to get the depth module or does the blueprint come with the seatruck?

The Seatruck depth modules blueprints are unlocked by scanning the 3 fragments to the Seatruck itself. They are built in the Seatruck Fabricator Module. The Seatruck Fabricator Module Fragments are located within the Deep Twisty Bridges. So if you keep on going down, you’ll find entrances to the Deep Twisty Bridges are at around 200-230 meters (sorry if it might be a tad off). Good luck survivor!

Oh my god I went searching for diamond for the enameled glass and I found one, thought I found two, came back, after about an hour of searching for them, realized what I thought was diamond, was magnetite.

Congrats Subnautica, you have drained me of all emotions and have killed my soul and sanity. I love this game.

You don't have to find the tunnel for the Glacial Basin area...it is open and much easier to get to. Same general area tho.
