I can't find the hydraulic fluid
Help! I can't find a recipe for hydraulic fluid. I know it's on the bridge but it's not there. What should I do? Are there any ways to solve the problem without starting a new game? :(

The experimental build is not for people who wants to keep their save files, that's all.
If a daily update comes from a level designer, your map won't upgrade properly. Stable updates the map, experimental doesn't.

You can remove the CellsCache folder as a workaround, but sometimes things in the progression change too and this workaround doesn't work. Just start a new game often and use console commands otherwise you'll have "bugs" that aren't bugs.

You make the lubricant from creepvine seeds.
I do not know what hydraulic fluid is

This is a new item that you need to go to the Arctic spires, because the bridge there now needs to be repaired. In the experimental version

I just played the experimental. You find a broken hydraulic fluid capsule to scan on the bridge.
The recipe is 4 x gel sacs and one creepvine seed cluster.

If it failed to spawn into your existing game, and you haven't disable console commands, then press the ( ` ) key and type in the box: item hydraulicfluid 1 That will spawn a completed one in your inventory and you will learn the schematic as well.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Is there something preventing you from just building a base (a couple of tubes) to cross the gap? I did not try this, just when I saw the gap in the bridge it got me wondering.

I deleted cache files and the fluid container was there
files are in \SteamApps\common\SubnauticaZero\SNAppData\SavedGames\slot0000\CellsCache
make a copy of the files just in case

This works! On the side of the bridge you want to be on, build a base. Then build it into a tower. I think you can only build 4 tall. Then make a hatch, it will have a platform. Go out on the platform and build 3 more. Then build a couple tubes and a new hatch. You have to place them right but this will get you to the top of the other side of the bridge.
