I don't like the Sea Truck and here's why
The main thing that I don't like about it is that you need modules for everything.

I don't really have a problem with the concept of modules but I want to be able to decide what to put in them myself. I would prefer constructing empty modules and putting things into them myself. The current system just seems like a waste of space, resources and time.

The huge decrease in speed doesn't make it much better. The Sea Truck just feels like a huge downgrade compared to the Cyclops which always was the same speed no matter what you placed inside. But the Sea Truck just becomes useless after you connect too many modules as it moves too slow.

The docking system isn't much fun either. The mirror isn't that useful as it just disappears even though I still need it which makes it hard to keep track of the other modules. It also doesn’t show the water. Docking just isn’t enjoyable.

Also, it’s kinda ugly.

They'll probably fix those issues in another update

You can drag the modules to the seatruck rather than backing them up against one another. Much easier.

I like the sea truck a lot if we could use it to move base modules, or attach modules to bases. It make things far more configurable if they integrate with habitats.

But as a new seamoth, the truck is a bit annoying, although it's nice to be able to walk around a smaller vessel. I like the truck + aquarium a lot over the moth.

They should just allow people to build whatever the want.

The main thing I don't like about the Seatruck is the miserly storage in the storage module. All combined, it doesn't even hold as much as the single wall-mounted storage unit in the rescue pod. Storage should equal STORAGE, not the equivalent of little automobile glove compartments. Inventory managment was always an annoyance in the 1st Subnautica, but this is even worse because there's no way to fix or alleviate the lack of adequate mobile storage.

And then there's an entire compartment dedicated to a single fabricator? That's it?

I'd rather have "general purpose" pods that let you put what you want in them, provided it fits. But really, that storage pod is a joke.

I do like the aquarium module.

Yeah at the moment I feel like the aquarium is the only module that make sense and even that module I would just park next to the base to catch me some fishes to eat until im out exploring.

I feel like comparing the Sea Truck to the Cyclops is unfair, it feels more like a better Seamoth.

I am sure we will get something that would be an equivalent to the Cyclops later.

im in agreement. and im pretty sure that the seatruck is our version of both the seamoth and cyclops since the cockpit portion detaches. maybe modders can push it back into the game. i feel like the vehicle overall is too slow when any modules are attached even with the upgrade

With it's uses like storage, fabrication, sleeping it resembles a Cyclops much more than any of the other vehicles.
I wouldn't call it a better Seamoth. It feels like a mix of the Cyclops and the Seamoth but I'd rather have those two instead.

I hope so...

What space are you wasting? The ocean is huge

There's something called the Afterburner and Horsepower upgrade modules...

You can just hold onto the the modules individually... and the rear view camera is always shown while holding the S key.

It's really not...

This is an upgrade to the Seamoth and does everything a Cyclops could

There is a hovercraft on the roadmap, maybe it will be the "Bigger boat" fingers crossed.

The space inside the module. There is so much empty space inside of them that could be filled with something useful.

Those 4 upgrades I can put in there don't make it fast enough for me to consider it good.

Yes, but it's still annoying. And if I am turning on the stop I won't be pressing S

It’s still in development and a lot will change

Maybe they should just make the map bigger then. The way it is right now just feels very empty as sson as you leave the twisted bridges and enter the unfinished biomes. Until I have the full map to compare to I can't really say anything about it.

Yes, and I'm here to complain about the things that I don't like so that they might get changed.
