They didn't listen when we begged for Character Customization in the first game, they sure as hell aren't going to listen to us for this game. But by all means, keep expressing your opinion.

RPGs aren't the only game with character customization, in fact, plenty of story based games and survival based games allow you SOME amount of character customization.

It doesn't make sense to have any form of character customization since you never see your character. Only hands/feet.

But these snowflakes need to go back to the 90s when the Tomb Raider series first released. A game with a sole female protagonist. No one freaked out then, no one freaks out to this day. GET OVER IT.

Need some serious moderation and a sticky on top about this soon.Perhaps a place where you suckers can hang out and support eachother on your gender crusade while the rest can talk about more relvant things to support the game.

I believe it's a legitimate discussion, and as long as it follows the Guidelines it's reasonable to leave it open. If you don't want to participate in the discussion, that's fine, there are plenty of other threads.

Character selection wont be a bad idea so long as it doesnt change gameplay, just the voice reading the lines.... but have it be a same sex couple either way just to mess with the haters xD

Don't listen to the very loud MINORITY who give a ♥♥♥♥ about this.

The majority of your PAYING customers don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about what gender the character is, and a large group actually enjoy that the character is a female. Keep doing what you're doing UWE.

I'm sure the 'white male only!' types will spout off and go nuts over all this, it seems to be the norm whenever someone tries to make a story outside of those boringly limited parameters anymore. Please, more stories with different kinds of people in them, devs! By the by, until I looked at the forums, I had no idea what race the character was. She just sounds aussie as all heck.

There's a difference between asking for character selection for a truly customized experience, and asking for character selection so you can avoid playing a female character because you're sexist. The people complaining are clearly doing the latter, and it's pretty repulsive.
