If it's like Subnautica Vanilla, F1 key, then look for Camera world position, or something like that. But I don't recommend it.You lose some inmersion.

You lose immersion in a lot of ways other than using the debugging UI in early access titles.

With all the things you can build and do in these games, being able to look at some coordinates shouldn't be immersion breaking. If I was stranded I'd start figuring out a system to map right away (along with beacons of course).
Now if you're looking up coordinates on a wiki and using the F1 in that way to find things, that's different.
But it's your game, have fun your way.

I agree with this. Coordinates in an underwater exploration game wouldn't be game breaking, UNLESS you are using it in correspondence with wiki articles, e.g. sea monkey nests.

Generally, I only use the coordinates sparsely, for example documenting the location of something I have found, but can't access yet.
Pfft... the modern generations.
We old pirates only needed a crude map and a shovel! :steammocking:

F1 gives you a wealth of info including your current velocity, map coords and depth among other things. I don't use it unless I am telling someone else where something is. Also used it to measure seatruck speed with different modules attached.

I wouldn't mind seeing a wrist mounted GPS device that shows Lat/Long/Depth (yes, I know there is the depth at the top all the time), but that could be the easiest way to show grid coordinates and help maintain that immersion, if using F1 breaks it for you. Devs?
