Now if you're looking up coordinates on a wiki and using the F1 in that way to find things, that's different.
But it's your game, have fun your way.
I agree with this. Coordinates in an underwater exploration game wouldn't be game breaking, UNLESS you are using it in correspondence with wiki articles, e.g. sea monkey nests.
Generally, I only use the coordinates sparsely, for example documenting the location of something I have found, but can't access yet.
We old pirates only needed a crude map and a shovel!
