From the chat here. Seamoth seem later into the game?

Last game seamoth is really early part of the game

Seamoth is gone and it's never coming back. It might be so gone that it's patched out of Subnautica later this year.

I don't think we will have a seamoth here.

Remember the map is a lot smaller than Subnautica.

I don't even think we will have a Cyclops either.

I can be wrong tho.

Hate to break it to you but its not going to be in the game..

So far only 3 vehicles are confirmed to be in development.

The prawn suit, and then instead of the seamoth or Cyclops we are going to get the Sea Truck. Which is basically a Seamoth, but you can attach what is basically trailers to it for storage and so on, making it sorta like a mobile base like the Cyclops was.

The 3rd one is going to be that hover bike that was seen in the trailer just released.

Not sure if any of them are even in the game at the moment.

All of them can be spawned with console commands, spawn seatruck/hoverbike and prawn is the same

yeah the seatruck is the new seamoth.

In Creative you can still build Seamoth. I explored around 3000 meters with it (after whales there is nothing, dont bother). Cyclops is bugged.

So there aren't implemented any Leviathans yet? Like this Icedriller?

you can build hover, spawn hoverpad in console, then you need energy to power it

Their own artwork shows a player in a Seamoth. They said there were three New vehicles, but they didn't say they removed the Seamoth that I know of.

what i have seen is that 937 Meters are the deepest point, currently. Also no point for the Cyclops exept they increase the map and the real deep sea.

Unless the sea truck is going to be as mobile as the seamoth without/almost no extra modules, it seems mandatory they add the seamoth.
On the topic of a deep ocean, it's still in VERY early access. Chances are they're going to make it deeper. Chances are they're going to make a cold sea bottom just like a Mariana's trench instead of a volcanic bottom. The again, the sea truck has a max 900 m depth range (similar to the seamoth), and the seatruck is the mobile base of Below Zero.

All in all, I kinda like that they removed the seamoth & cyclops & replaced it an almost literal middle-man.

if you go ingame and enable console do bobthebuilder for everything and make a mobile vehicle bay, if you go to build vehicles it will show 4, the seamoth, seatruck (yes seamoth AND seatruck), CYCLOPS (just the image, it wont build it) and the prawn suit, you can also get the modules for seamoth and the neptune launch platform for rocket
