[Bug] Stuck Saving

Loaded up new game, decided to save right away. It took ~65 seconds to create the new game, it's been over 5 minutes waiting for it to save and the only thing moving is the alterra logo spinning.....

Kill it from task manager and try again, somebody else had the same issue but better luck on a subsequent attempt.

additional note: hitting [ESC] clears the "Please Wait..." but the Saving Game + spinning logo stays. I can move around all I want but the Save button on the menu is inactive too

No problem. I only knew it existed because I read it when it was on the front page. :)

Update: After killing the process, on reload it only to 35 seconds to create the new game, and when I saved at the same point it was instantaneous.

Erasing the slot0000/batchobjects files, and setting all the graphics to the minimum solved the problem. Now i can play and save : )

and you can't take PDA screenshots while it works

it's just killed my attempt at playing the game too. 2023 now. My question is, how can they revamp Subnautica around the Below Zero game and get that pretty perfect, but still not fix this?
