EDIT 1: I returned to the default version and all is well again. Sad, no experimental for me :(
Edit 2: Just on a whim I switched back to experimental and it worked fine. I changed nothing. It just ran. Very happy am I!
Go to the folder SBZ . Right-click on the "SBZ.exe" to view the contextual menu. Then, click or tap on Properties . In the Properties window, go to the Compatibility tab. At the bottom of the window, check the box that says "Run this program as an administrator" and then click or tap on Apply or OK.
Now start SBZ over Steam.

Worked for me
At least, it helped me: After update, i wouldnt get further than fully loading a new game, until game crashed.
