Can't place both bioreactor and water filter in a large room

The title says it all : I tried to build a bioreactor and a water filter in the same large room, but after building one of them, the other can't be built, even if, apart from these two, the room is entirely empty. Does someone know if it is a bug, or done on purpose ?

I have a bioreactor and a water purifier in the same room.
Built bioreactor first with the panel facing the corridor opening and the water purifier to the left back of the bioreactor. To the right of the bioreactor is a ladder down to the two story alien containment tank.

Both are working well.

Edit. Just added a second water purifier in the back right. No problems.

Hi, thanks for answering. I tried again just now, and it worked perfectly, because the first time I started to build the water purifier just to see if there was going to be enough room (I thought it would be at the centre of the room, not a wall), but didn't finish, because I didn't have all the materials for it a few hours ago. So it seems that you can't build something in a large room if you started to build something else in the same room

You can't build anything anywhere if you have started to build something else or if you started to deconstruct something else.
