Crashfish
Ok devs, I see adding crashfish to the sea monkey caves as an added threat because they aren't unfriendly enough yet but I just logged out and on my last trip through one cave the little monsters were popping out 3 and 4 at a time. It is hard to doge them in there at best but if all 4 hit you it is close to deadly. Maybe back them off just s bit?

I noticed some interesting behavior on the crashfish in the caves. I was able to approach one slowly thinking that I might be able to get close enough to scan it from range. It didn't charge out and attack immediately, it stuck it's head out , made the familiar "raaaawwwww", and just sat there looking at me (I stopped and got ready to evacuate when I heard the "raaaaaawww"). I backed up and it went back into its nest. I approached slowly and stopped when it popped out again. I was able to pass it without having it go BOOM! by staying on the opposite side of the tunnel. I'd been hearing the "raaaaaawwww" but no boom in other areas and been wondering what it meant.

They seemed to go overboard on creature spawns this update. the Crashfish in the monkey caves, Cryptosuchus in purple vent area, jellyfish on way to glacial basin all seem excessive in quantity.

ever see a swarm of jellyfish?

the jellyfish just spawn in from the walls sometimes the bump into another one and send it flying across the area... don't get me started on the crocks and squid sharks in the lily pad area... for gods sake.. and the squid sharks warp into the walls so they will pop out unexpectedly. be sure to hit F8 and report your findings to the devs in game...

Did anyone see who made a request for more dangerous atmosphere? WOW the creatures had a baby boom!!
Crocs all over thermal and purple vents, Squidsharks infesting the Lily pads, Brutes are a little better in twisty's but very little, and my nemesis the oh so irritating Crash Fish all over Monkey nests. I used to enjoy exploring the nest areas, now I just died twice and made a major investment in the Band-aide brand to try and stay alive. Used to only worry about drowning while trying to get a tool back from a monkey, now I know I will die when I go down there unless I have 6 band aids on hand. Though a good way to take the attention to how some found monkeys annoying, they are actually much better than their atmosphere.
Then you just go off exploring in a relative safe area, boom you are suddenly frozen solid. Did not see that one coming and did not see what did it either. :O

I know we had a couple of players who thrived on killing everything that swims in the game but do not make us suffer while supplying them with fodder. Heck Chelly is actually mild compared to the horde we now have. The Croc's sound so loud, like the old Godzilla movies.

Guess today I get to see the Jellyfish horde. Right after I go and deforest another section of kelp making band aides. Dev's could you maybe give us back the bandage maker? That would help some please!!

I actually do like the Rock Crusher's new action. Was a bit of a surprise, and hard to find their range but fun compared to the rest of the new additions. I guess this is how you distract attention from the Sea monkeys, showing how much nastier the rest of the ocean is! Warning Hard Core people, Be very careful in the nests area!! You can not dodge fast enough or use seaglaide (I do not think actually). Can the monkeys still steal the glide? If not that would so help. Have to try that today as well. Whew okay getting ready for another day of rude surprises. Play with Leviathans and duck, dodge and run from everything else! LOL

Sometimes it feels like Ace Combat with all the Crash fish "Incoming Missile" warnings.

But they're so easy to dodge. Have the seaglide, then when they make their characteristic loud groan, just turn back and flee until they blow up.

Easy to say when they were in the twisty's. In the nest areas it is cramped, monkeys around making seaglide risky, and it is usually 4 or more at a time. Even if you turn back on them you run into the first 3 that started chasing you. I have found quickly looping around roots helps where available. So far I have died twice and as said went through an atrocious amount of bandages.

Now, it's easy to jump the gun as they may not explode when you hear the sound. If you move away, they'll basically reset.
