Not sure how knowing when and what exactly discount the game will get would help. An announcement that the game will get for example a -33% off discount during summer sale would cause some of people who were ready to buy it at release wait for the summer sale instead. Why would anyone wanting to sell you something announce something like this in advance? You simply buy the game when you are satisfied with its price and when you don't have any other more important things to pay/save for.
Most games get discounted at some point. Some games can take 3,4,5 years before gettings good discounts. Others, 6 months.
Wait and see.
Subnautica, at full price, is very fair for the amount of game you get. If below zero is anything like it, the price will be worth it.
If you don't get alot of money, try saving what you can; full release will be in approximately 1 year.
