How safe is the seatruck?
First off, I LOVED the Cyclops in SN1, it was basically a mobile base where you could store, fabricate, and venture into otherwise unreachable depths. As I see, Below Zero features neither the Cyclops, or the Seamoth, but instead provides a vehicle that is sort of both: The seatruck. I see that the seatruck can serve just as much of a mobile base as the Cyclops, with various modules increasing its usefulness in various ways. But there is one aspect I am unsure about. See, for me, the best trait the Cyclops had is that it was a safe haven. Smaller predators didn't even try to attack it, and if you got too close to a leviathan, shut off engine, and you're invisible. And it had a built-in sonar to locate nearby threats. I wonder, how much of this safety can the seatruck provide? It would make sense that a long enough seatruck would be considered too big for the everyday sharky to try and chomp up, and I wonder if you can use the "shut down engine until you're safe" tactic with it. Sadly, I found no information regarding this elsewhere (and I haven't progressed far enough in the game to test it out myself), so I rely on you to answer my questions.

Sea truck is still in development, but it is nowhere near as invincible as the Cyclops. Smaller predators attack it. Leviathans attack it. Sea truck has no sonar or silent mode. Currently, there are no tactics. If you get hit by a leviathan, use a perimeter defense module. It is the only defense you have. Warning though, some leviathans can swallow the sea truck whole very quickly, and defenses for those leviathans have not been implemented yet.

Basically, the sea truck is a modified sea moth with attachable modules that give you all of the features that the Cyclops had, except a torpedo bay and any of the cyclops upgrades. Those may come.

Thank you for the reply. I did some experimenting in the meantime, and figured out that stopping to pilot the Seatruck will essentially shut down its engine, rendering it invisible to smaller predators (tested it with the shark in twisty bridges, did not try with Leviathans, and to be far, I would not either). One problem is that unless you have a module attached, leaving piloting mode also means exiting the Seatruck, so this tactic is only applicable with at least one module attached.

you can still get attacked while in other modules

Personally I like the fact that the vehicle isnt safe. It shouldnt be.

i really feel like the jukebox module to be removed, no need for that if you have one in the main truck
