Its not like on e of those packages that discounts owned items.
Even in that case the price for alreaddy owned items should be substracted, not for a discount but just to to make the price match single purchases.
Not for players who Bought subnautica 1.
Why dont you just get below zero seperately? Why do you have to buy it through a bundle?
Also, this is just a method so people can get into the games quicker instead of applying 2 seperated games to cards.... lol nothing wrong with that, nothing bugged.
To that statement I have to add that steam almost always pops a flag over what you already own, takes the cost from the bundle before you add it to the cart, and if I recall right when at the cart says something about it again being owned.
There are rare times that some bundles are not done right and need to be sorted. This link tells me I can buy for a friend as I own both games, and there is no benefit of doing the bundle at all. (No extra % off as typically seen on many steam bundles. This may be as intended.)
