Nickel ore

Is it not in game yet.

As far as i know it should be in the lilypads area, but have been as far down as 400 meters, and only finds gold or silver and ruby.

How ever, i see some "boxes" with lilypads_ressource in that area, so is that the future rocks with nickel ?

"Deep_Arctic_ Resources" are also available so one of those will probably be nickel. The only other choices are uraninite and kyanite

I collected a half dozen of each in case they get named and used for something.

But what about just "pure" nickel ore ?
I cant seem to find it anywhere.

Ive found nickel in the mining site, but only 3 or 4.

Are we talking stable or experimental?

There is nickel ore in experimental. Check the walls of the seamonkey caves in the lilypads biome. There's not much, but it's there. (Looks the same as in Subnautica; small, single chunks of raw ore sticking to the walls.)

i am in experimental yes.

Have not found the mining site yet though, and have not seen seamonkey caves in the lilypads either :-D And well, i can only go down to 400 meters.

The caves are different; mostly empty and much larger. But there are a few seamonkey nests down there. Can't really remember how deep, but I think 400m should be enough.

Have found a fair bit of Nickel under the Lilypad base. Keep going down. If you build a base in the region the Scanner room will show you a bucket load of it.

Well, I hope it's still there. I just started a new game and found that they moved some stuff around. Not far enough to check the caves. :}

In “stable” there used to be tons of Nickel below the where the whales hang out, but you had to go to something like 400m before you found it. I haven't played much of the current update, so that could have changed.

I found some nickel just floating deep in the crystal caves, between 800-900m down, past the shadow leviathans. Fill up with water and raw bladder fish to give yourself enough time to swim down there. plenty of bladder fish down there to replenish your o2 once you're there, but they decrease your h20 significantly when consumed.

I don't know if the nickle was supposed to be there, but it was. floating in free space. definitely seemed bugged, but half the resources are in beta.

Yeah my scanner room do not even have the nickel. Maybe i should build a new base or second base near the island :-P

Anyway, have played experimental all along, so will go into the game, and look around those monkey nest, because i have seen those at least :-)

After the latest update (story reworked etc) I cant find the nickel either. It used to be under Lilly islands, but I have spent there about 2 hours and found nothing.
