Found a way to play the game with a gamepad

I saw some people having trouble with playing the game using a PS4 or Xbox controller like I was.

The solution I found is that if you put Steam in Big Picture mode and config your controller via the settings there. Then boot the game up in Big Picture mode, the game can be played with a controller.

I still can't get the game to work with the controller using the normal way, but in BIg Picutre mode ity works all the time.

Hope this helps someone having the same problem.

Zero, problems for me (win 10), only thing I did was turn off big picture from the steam settings.
And I launch the game with the xbox gamepad on.
Using the old xbox 360 wireless gamepad.

Can I still play this PC game with a PC mouse and keyboard or nah. Did they even playtest wtf. I can play on a controller, but then when they fix the mouse I'm not going to know the imputs when I come back to kb+m

had no problems with wired xbox one controller. i would say make sure steam is ran in admin mode before starting any games.

Same problem here! 360 wireless controller dosent work at all! But it needs to be ON to even be able to play the game with the keyboard. As soon as the controller turns off it say that I have to reconnect it...even thou I cant play with it!. Splendid....

so i found you steam overlay is the issue. turned that off and you shoudl be able to get it to work.
