Almost all Anti virus softwares are causing this issue. So try disabling them and launch the game and see it it works.

And if you are using bitdefender then only disable advanced threat detection in protection settings.

I added the folder "SunsetOverdrive" to my Exceptions list on my anti-virus program and it booted up. Give that a go.

I had the same issue on Avast. Add the game as exception and it will launch.

I only use Comodo, whitelisted, unblocked etc. Even turned off comodo.. still won't start.

same here it wont start... it says it starts but nothing happens after that!

edit: If i deactivate advanced threat defence on my Bitdefender it is starting!

edit2: Add the game to "exceptions" works too!

check your settings mate... somewhere there has to be something like whitelisting or something similar.

does not work, when i click on "PLAY" on steam it just says "getting executed" and after few seconds "syncronisation" and dosent start
