Is the pc port good?
I played this game sometime ago on my xbox and i just can't stand the 30fps. So how is the performance on pc and does mouse and keyboard feel good for this game?

It's not a dream port, but it runs well and I'm glad it's out.

Not really.

1. No true mouse support. It emulates an analog stick instead. Why developers keep making this mistake is beyond me.
2. Runs DX11 but has issues on Windows 7. Why screw over potentially 30% of your customers by using DX11 but not even testing Windows 7?
3. No AA options besides supersampling and SMAA. Supersampling is really expensive, and SMAA is almost completely useless without a temoral component.

Aside from that, the game seems to run really well. Even on my ancient i7 2600K and GTX 970 I get 60fps easy almost all the time. I assume the dips I'm seeing are because of my CPU being 7 years old now.

Could have been great, but it really seems like a bare minimum port effort. Or rather, it feels like a team that really wanted to do a great port, but they weren't given the funds or time to do so.
Do you not see that it says it does not support windows 7 on the steam store? So ofc it wont work for a lot of people on win7

After playing for couple hours, seems to run and work just fine. Using 360 controller, and the game looks good too.

2600x ryzen which is not really utilized at all (20% of each core max) and a gtx 980ti which is only utilized to around 50%. maybe its becasue i installed it on my samsung 960 evo.. i've noticed some games hate those superfast ssds and behave worse than on my hdd lol (whilst others love it like civ6)

edit: i tried the game with unlocked framerate and whilst i always have 100+fps (mostly 120-160fps) i still have this one stutter once every few seconds -.-

I have tried everything I can think of in and out of game, turned off all graphics settings and lowering the res to 480p I still get that damn stutter every few secondfs...killing the game for me tbh because its very fun otherwise.

I think we might benefit from a true fullscreen mode rather than the current borderless window.

spec -

i7-4770k
MSI 980TI 6g (sli disabled)
32gb Ram
SSD Sam 840 EVO
Windows 10 64bit

Things tried

- Had old nvida drivers but updated to current, still the same stutter.
- Alt tabbed out and changed game .exe to high priority in task manager.
- Disabled MSI afterburnerr and any other background processes.
- DPI scaling options.
- Tried on both SSD and HDD.
- Turned off all graphics settings and lowering the res to 480p.
- Forced different types of vsync and fps cap with nvidia inspector.
- Power management settings in Nvidia CC.
- Disabled Steam Overlay.

Any suggestions from anyone for me to try would be much appreciated  other than get a new part or something, I have zero issues in any of my other games.

Heres to hoping for quick patch to fix everyones issues :ranald:

Thanks for the try Black  but I already have that big picture option disabled, also tried just disabling all the Steam overlay but still no joy.

oh okay, that totally fixed the stutters for me, after that i had to disable vsync and AA to remove the slowdowns. its a big joke that this runs so poorly when i can play more demanding games with no problems

Runs fine for me with full AA on, V-Sync off (V-sync is garbage anyway, using free-sync), grain-filter and motion-blur off (dislike both of those things). FPS lock to 60, since my monitor doesn't go higher than 75 anyway.

i-5
SSD
16 RAM
R9 380 4 gigs.

So far from high end PC.

Maybe check ingame settings under steam and uncheck launch in big picture mode if controller connected.
This seems enabled by this game and unchecking helped my performance. Now at 60+ fps at 1440 on 980

Apparently this game really hates SSD.
Try to install this game on a HDD.
This fixed my problem.
No more stuttering for me.

for me, it turned out to be steam big picture mode infiltrating the game causing weird stuttering. smooth and silky aside of that

So far aside from the sort of limited PC graphical config options, game runs like a dream. I'll also throw out there that this game works beautifully with Reshade (the customizeable in-game-graphics filter overlay, google it). You can mess with the different filters and a lot of the AA problems, and effects and lighting/color/contrast toggle-on's make the game look much more 2018 on PC and I reccomend it for anyone with a GPU getting upward 60 FPS.
