It's not a dream port, but it runs well and I'm glad it's out.
2600x ryzen which is not really utilized at all (20% of each core max) and a gtx 980ti which is only utilized to around 50%. maybe its becasue i installed it on my samsung 960 evo.. i've noticed some games hate those superfast ssds and behave worse than on my hdd lol (whilst others love it like civ6)
edit: i tried the game with unlocked framerate and whilst i always have 100+fps (mostly 120-160fps) i still have this one stutter once every few seconds -.-
The game is largely auto-aim based anyway, so it's not like having a M+K really makes too much of a difference. This ain't CSGO where precision aim is integral and you have to hit your flick shots. It's more like Tony Hawk, where you're grinding and doing stupid, stylish ♥♥♥♥; you just happen to also be holding RT (or LMB) to shoot ♥♥♥♥ while you do it.
PC better framerate
XBone has multiplayer
and... ?
Like, did they improve the visuals or something?
good day.
1. No true mouse support. It emulates an analog stick instead. Why developers keep making this mistake is beyond me.
2. Runs DX11 but has issues on Windows 7. Why screw over potentially 30% of your customers by using DX11 but not even testing Windows 7?
3. No AA options besides supersampling and SMAA. Supersampling is really expensive, and SMAA is almost completely useless without a temoral component.
Aside from that, the game seems to run really well. Even on my ancient i7 2600K and GTX 970 I get 60fps easy almost all the time. I assume the dips I'm seeing are because of my CPU being 7 years old now.
Could have been great, but it really seems like a bare minimum port effort. Or rather, it feels like a team that really wanted to do a great port, but they weren't given the funds or time to do so.
but at 4K it runs bad seeing the specs of my PC vs the original Xbox One i should be getting way over 60fps at 4K not 50-60FPS with dips to 30-40.
