Comodo shellcode injections detection exclusion works like a charm, should be way up there in troubleshooting guides and whatnot.

It'd help people to troubleshoot it if you posted your system information. Operating System, CPU type and speed, RAM, GPU, and any anti-virus software you may be running.
It took me a while to get it running when I first got it; I was on Windows 7 and had/have Bitdefender, and both of those took some working around with.
The more information you provide, the more likely someone can help you. Maybe not me, but it's quite possible someone has had the same experience.
Make sure you look at the first stickied topic regarding the game not starting/ AV issues to see if anything there applied to you.
