The Sacred Corrupt Save File

Hey! So right after the opening logo crawl I was immediately faced with a notification alerting me that one of my save files had become corrupt, I found this especially strange since this was my first time launching the game and I couldn't possibly have a save file already.
I went to load game and sure enough there was a file sitting there in the first slot which had been labelled corrupt, I tried to delete it and the game crashed.
2nd try, deleted it again, game was fine, started a new game, a few minutes later it crashed.
After a bit of experimenting I found that the game runs completely fine, as long as you don't touch the Sacred Corrupt Save File™.
I admit it is a little annoying having to dismiss the corruption warning every time I boot the game up, and having one lees save slot at my disposal, and knowing that something is clearly wrong somewhere inside the game.
But until there's a solution, long live the Sacred Corrupt Save File.

I read something about the steam cloud save, for some reason after an update the file isn't recognised anymore, you have to disable the cloud auto save before deleting the file

I have disrespected the Sacred Corrupt Save File, apparently this doesn't always work, game started to crash before opening but now I've allowed cloud again it seems fine, All Hail the Sacred Corrupt Save File
