Help, can't equip weapon amp, stuck on tutorial

I'm at Amptastic mission and I just can't equip the stun amp in my lv2 weapon, there's just no option. I already tried starting a new game, same thing. I really want to play the rest of this game, what can I do?

Yeah, that's odd. The only other instance I could find for this, the only suggestion was either try abandoning the mission you're on and restarting it, reloading an old save. Unfortunately the only confirmed answer I found, and you probably found, was the person restarted the game. Thankfully it's pretty early on, but it is irritating I'm sure.

I never had that issue; so I assumed you might've been in the wrong screen or something, but you're in the right spot.

It should show "SWAP WEAPON" "EQUIP AMP" "VIEW WEAPON TUTORIAL" "BACK" in the bottom right, and obviously you only have "BACK". Even before you have a level 2 weapon to equip an amp on, it should at least have "SWAP WEAPON" and "VIEW WEAPON TUTORIAL".

So yeah, if you haven't refunded the game yet, I would try cancelling a mission if you're on it, reloading an early save, or last ditch try starting a new game. Again, you're not that far in, and the game is worth it to get it working. Best of luck.

I've tried reloading an older save file and also restarting the whole game, to no success. Same bug.

Refunded the game, but that's awfull because I really wanted to play it all and have no intent on buying a Xbox One.

This is completely useless now but did you try plugging in a controller and seeing if it was just an issue with the KBM controls?

You need to keep advancing the quest moving and killing, you will be auto prompted to equip amps.

Tp clarify weapons need to be level up from use to be able to equip amps. Just keep spamming ood till you get level 2. Protip everything useful requires those energy drinks OR collectible items only gotten from grinding,parkour. Get the collectible maps when you can.

Weapons can also be purchased with energy drinks. There are some easy challenges that reward 1 or 2 or 3 thousand. not fun but hey farming if farmnig

I don't know if this will help anyone, but I think if you go into the menu on your own and equip an amp, rather than letting the tutorial force you through each step of the process, it like breaks you out of the loop and messes up the process. You have to let the tutorial progress at its own pace. I had to abandon and relaunch the mission, and the second time, when I let the tutorial just run, it worked.
