Save file erasure

Has the glitch where save files are erased been fixed yet? want to get back into the game but don't want to lose my progrss agian.

When you exit the game, give Steam time to update its cloud save of the game. If you don't, Steam will load from the cloud with old data.

Let me see if my old save file is still there. I didn't relaunch the game immediately though and the save file was gone.

I'm glad to know it's not just me. The risk of losing my save file has killed my drive to continue playing and I probably won't until it's fixed. Which I hadn't gotten the game from a 3rd party vendor or else I'd try to refund it.

They havent mentioned the save issue in any of their pinned threads, but it's probably a good idea to send a support email their way. They do actually read and reply to them

They probably mean that it won't happen now. I've got some other games to go through but I'm glad I can return to this eventually without worrying about losing my save.

It's probably not a retroactive fix unfortunately. if the save file was corrupted or deleted theres really not much an update is going to do.

Hopefully the issue actually is solved.
