It's me! Fizzie! bug.

[LEGALIZE NUCLEAR BOMBS]

I'm unable to make any progress after this mission. His health drops down until he starts shooting his missles. After he is stunned, no targets are shown and his health bar is not there. Trying to die to start it over traps me in an infinite respawn loop, and restarting the mission doesn't fix it. Has anyone figured out how to fix this or is it just something that needs patched?

Happened to me too one time. After jumping two times on "amplifiers" or w/e they are called and stunning him two times and shooting his eyes out discoball appears in middle and you have to shoot it.

I've spent almost 10 minutes shooting at that disco ball and nothing ever happens. With every gun I have, after popping all the balloons, jumping on the pads with balloons on them, shooting the missles, but nothing ever changes.

It turns out my save was bugged so I had to make a new file and start over again

I got it, try to kill him and suicide in the infinite respawn loop, load a game from the last checkpoint and kill fizzie. worked for me.

Just use fast travel to any point.

Can confirm that fast-traveling to nearest point, reloading from last savepoint and then attempting the mission again works (the strobosphere becomes targetable in the final Fizzie segment).

Thanks everybody, 2021 and still not fixed. Also experienced the infinite teleportation bug on my first attempt. That was scary, because quitting and resuming got me straight into the infinite teleportation loop again. Abandoning the mission works around that.

Disappointing to see this problem dates back to 2018. Dealing with this now and getting nowhere, anyone have any other solutions? Reloading/fast travelling don't work, same problem occurs every time. Running in admin was also no joy. Last save prior to this is a few hours back and I'd rather not go back that far.

It's been a while for me, so I may not be remembering right, but isn't there an autosave before the mission?
Try to abandon the mission first. Then, fast-travel somewhere, reload your most recent save from there and attempt the mission again. I think it went like that for me.

As sad as it is, insomniac doesnt seem to care much for pc ports.. after all, they outsourced it to blind squirrel games.. who borked the bioshock remasters and borderlands 1 goty enhanced aswell.
