Best Weapons\Combos to unlock early?

This game loves it's wacky guns, but at least to start with many are quite expensive so choosing which to unlock first is significant.
I'm trying to find what guns work best for you in the early game. Would especially like something that can help with Buck's Show challenges

You should chose which type do you prefer.. there are 3 i think.. Automatic, Deployable & oneshot. I prefer deployable as its like trap that attack on its own for some ammount of time ( sprinkler)

I would say that you should invest in the early game something deployable. Mines, acid sprinkler, even AHAB, so you can more easely control the crowd of ODs in VAT defense
