Signboard in the desert - directions puzzle

You have to bomb it free and then it tells you a puzzle:

(translation from german to english)

"go to south as much as you can"
"go to east as much as you can"
"go to north as much as you can"
"go to north as much as you can"
"then buddy slam"

Don't know if i'm allowed to jump or not, but either way it doesn't work. I have basically no idea if going south as much as I can also means i have to go through the secret entrance which you also lay free by using bombs. Also why the hell do I have to go north 2 two times!? Doesn't make sense to me.

I guess you are talking about the Sign in the secret cave. In the Beach, right? If so, you are already solved the puzzle then. Because you said you've returned to secret cave again.

Soo... All you have to do is Buddy Slam. Just next to the Sign. On its right side.

Nope unfortunelately not. It's after the third paywall in the game. There is a small alcove which you have to set free with bombs, behind it there is the Sign. I already got the one at the beach.

Ah, sorry... My bad. Now I understand. You mean the sign behind the rotating wheel. Check erc493's walkthrough video. It's pretty useful for finding secrets and all.

Actually I did. I don't know why, but the video starts a few seconds before the time stamp. Go to 23:32.

Oooook there seems to be a big translation error in the german version...? Or didn't I understand how it works? It looks like you have to go west instead of east.

It's a huge translation error. I encountered that too.

If course it is meant to say south, east, north, west.
