PS4 controller disabled by update

I was playing co-op using a keyboard and PS4 controller (bluetooth) on macOS (13.3.1). The most recent update to Dysmantle seems to have disabled this and now I can't get the controller to connect and control player 1 or 2. I have confirmed that other games through Steam still work with the controller (Kingdom 2 Crowns).

We managed to get them working on macOS on our end by going to the Steam controller settings and turning on
"Guide Button Focuses Steam"
"Switch Configuration Support"
"Combine Pairs of Joy-Con controllers".
Could you please verify whether this has any effect?

When I launch the game it says gamepad config loaded, but it doesn't move the player and I can't join co-op. The controller is seen by steam and works to play other games.

Yeah, that is the way we managed to get it working here at the offices, but it seems we'll have to search for an alternative. Thank you for replying, continuing to look into this.

Quick update on this- I went out and bought a PS5 controller, same issue. Seen by steam, but not recognized by Dysmantle.

Another update on this, I tried this out on a computer running Mac Os X 13.2.1 instead of 13.3.1 using my PS4 blue tooth controller. It worked fine under 13.2.1. I guess Mac Os X and Dysmantle must have both updated between when I had Dysmantle open. Do you think it will be possible to get Dysmantle PS controller support working under the new version of mac?

Same for me. PS5 dualsens. On Steam and Mac. Other game work with the controller, but not Dysmantle.
Could you fix it please. It is really annoying to play with keyboard for moving.

What are your Steam controller settings? Steam settings -> Controller?

I have only Activate steam input for plyastation" on.
If i try the dualsens, it works, if i launch a game it works, but with Dysmante, no. Don't know why.
