Is it just me or is the "Ex Human Stalker" a little OP?
I understand that they are meant to be tough, but finding them close to the starting areas is a bit much. Other than fighting them by opening and closing the door exploit, any effective way to deal with the ones roaming the streets later?

grenades while running/rolling

That depends on how you find them. You don`t need to fight any, so you can simply sneak past every one of them. If you can start by hitting them from behind, it is possible to do a couple of focused attacks and then step/roll back for another one, doing quite a lot of damage. Timing your rolls while making sure you roll out of their range can work.

And later you can have enough knockback to keep them away while smashing their faces and enough protection to facetank their damage.

Can be scary, not OP.

If you just want to go face to face with it, it's better for you to Learn how to evade Ex stalker by listen carefully, it will making a sound before hit you! Do quick Dodge roll back once or twice when ever you hear a sound then timing for your charge attack when it almost get close to you or else hit and roll (way easier to learn in open area) later on you will found it super easy prey.

My issue was I was trying to fight them with out much strategy. It was frustrating at level 5-10. I've since learned how to dispatch them with little difficulty. The problem I feel is you can run into them early on. Trying to fight something like that so soon after starting was a shock.

One of the theams of this game is comeing back through arias again and again as you get stronger and can break more things. Mobs like that are also part of that theam.

I agree with the others that they're they're actually very easy to kill once you learn their patterns (and/or how to avoid triggering it).

The trick is to not run away. You can't outrun them, they are one of the few enemies that can attack while moving, and it's hard to time their attacks while they're moving because it has such a longer wind-up time when moving. When you stand still their attack always happens half a second after they get to you, so it's easy to dodge.

To recap: Stand still, attack once as they approach (power attack if you're feeling adventurous), then as soon as they stop moving dodge away, and repeat.

its just you, this game is too easy, I hope they would add some really challengeble zombies, bosses and deseases as starwing system

I agreed they were crazy tough at first but just got to time the roll hit right and they are no big issue for me now. I can normally get them without taking a single hit. The ones that give me the most trouble believe it or not are the ones that shoot at you as they are shooting and backing away constantly. I roll to them but fairly often get hit trying to do that.

Although it is completely possible to kill the first stalker when you meet it in the game, it is supposed to notify the player early on that there are some challenges one should not meet head on. Later on when you gain strength you are better equipped to dispatch them.

Grenades or sneak.
I hope they introduce stronger enemies and more versiona of them that unlock and start to replace the normal zombies after day 30 let's say?:D

Maybe someone knows when the update will be released?

I struggled with combat early on, but never had a problem with these guys. After grinding through the basketball quest near the start, I had a good enough grasp of the combat system to know to roll to avoid hits, with patience, timing and a good camera angle, you can kill anything without taking damage, even if you can't hit hard.

Any zombie can be killed with appropriate weapon.(the axe is for me the best for now)
Just update your armory and fight "roll and face them" to kill. (don't be surounded)

I've updated the relay point to the max from every zones for the respawn, they are strongest ; but still manageable

just try to not die if you don't have activate the kill definitively switch option at the relay point.

great day :PoisonJar:

do a big roll. just keep rolling

Practicing dodging is a solid strategy. Once you have that timing down, the stalkers aren't really too bad at all. Besides, it's not as though dying has any penalty other than respawning enemies.
