And, let us map Q and E as we wish. Some games hard code the Q and E rotation backwards, and I can't wrap my head around it. So, let us choose which direction Q and E rotate the camera, please.
This will also give us the added ability to rotate the camera while attacking and breaking things. Currently when holding the mouse button down to attack/break things, it is almost impossible to rotate the camera at the same time since we can only use the middle mouse button. It's just too cumbersome.
FYI you can map that function to any button you like.
My middle mouse button doesn`t work so i switched it to right mouse button and it doesn`t feel uncomfortable or cumbersome.
Having 2 more separate bindings for camera rotation is a nice addition, but not a mandatory one.
Thank you for this suggestion!
I mapped camera rotation to RMB and it feels 1000% better as my MMB is really stiff.
On a lot of games RMB is really essential (aim down sights, etc.) but in Dysmantle I've found using it for Special Item deploying a pretty infrequent use scenario, relatively speaking.
So flipping Rotate Camera to RMB has been a legit game-changer in my case. Given the light use of default RMB in standard gameplay, I'm thinking changing it to Camera might be even better than the standard Q/E keys you commonly see elsewhere.
