Am I missing something or is this resource EXTREMELY rare and almost impossible to get?

Lumber is easy. You just use wood in sawmills to make it. Wood comes from certain types of trees and some walls.

There is a mission that unlocks your facility to build sawmills, dont worry, you will also find a couple, as you progress.

On a similar note, the higher-tier metals can be made by smelting them. This machine is like the lumber mill in that a side quest unlocks your ability to create one, but there are also a few scattered around you can use.

I think for both, as long as you follow the main quest, you'll be brought to the areas that trigger the side quests. (There are multiple things that unlock as you progress through the main quest. You don't always have to do the main quest to unlock them, but since this is your first time playing, that is probably the easiest way to find major things to unlock.)

Haha, that's the problem I always have with open world games. I have almost nothing left to get in the invent tree, and only just now found first smelter to get titanium, I've had stuff that wanted titanium/mana stones to upgrade/invent for ages.

Also, just found the katana at lvl 30. xD

Idk if first boss is supposed to be reaper, but he was EZPZ at lvl 28, perhaps I was overleveled?
