On PC in the options you can turn off autorotate for the camera. Perhaps that is an option for PS5 as well? I can zoom out far enough to see the whole map when I'm in map mode on PC but when I'm playing I can't adjust the zoom as far as I know.
I was hoping you could still zoom out whilst playing on PC, as then I'd probably get another copy, (was free on PS+.) I find the gameplay great, but the level of zoom is slightly too close for my eyes.
Thanks for the reply!
IIRC the PS5 version does support higher Hz amounts (120, could remember wrong however), but it depends on the display device ofc.
Might just be all around easier to look at on a computer monitor. I think on a TV it would hurt my eyes too
In terms of motion sickness yes, field of view matters. You prolly should practice 20-20-20, take a break every 20 minutes to look at something far away for 20 seconds, so your eye muscles don't get used to being crossed eyed, depending how far/near you look at or how big the screen is. https://www.healthline.com/health/eye-health/20-20-20-rule
I don't have any of those issues, I can just stare at a screen for hours and mostly like playing at night times. I don't even know what motion sickness as a personal experience.
My 27" monitor is for example my arm length + quarter of my arm reach away from me. And I've attuned the monitor in terms how I feel about it (every setting and combination), not what someone would think is correct, what matters is your personal experience, not if what you see is 1:1 accurate to realism, we play games mostly anyway, so artistically everything (besides games) looks whatever anyone wants it to look. (thus every "shader" mod anyone has ever created is useless for me, also I wonder why anyone even bothers sharing 'em)
So technically there isn't even a need to go for a pc if you wanna use a monitor for gaming.
