Dentured Fangs

Can anyone explain what the benefits are of Dentured Fangs. Tried to Google and get dentist advertisements. But no explanation.

As far as I know, it replenish user hp with every hit. However, it reduce the max hp a player have while Dentured Fangs is equipped. I am not too sure if it is 100% correct. If anyone knows better, please correct me.

While it lowers your hp, you are able to get hp back with every hit that connects with an enemy. You could think of it as an additional challenge where you are able to excel if you use roll to it's full potential and don't get hit. All in all, some trinkets will have drawbacks associated with them, as either their modifiers are too strong as is or we feel like players could build their equipment loadouts in different ways. In this case, for example, one could try to counteract the hp max loss with a large hp pool to begin with, possibly with some added dodge speed or something similar.
