Broken Quest???

I was on the mission to find the prison key when I accidentally struck the key with my bat.....which looks to have dysmantled the key....and now I can't do my fuel cell quest. Why in the world would the main quest item be destructible and is there a way to recover?

As far as I know all dropped items arent destructible; key items wont show up in your inventory either. Have you tried opening the Prison Door when you got the key in (i think) Curtisfield North? Because the Key location isnt in the prison :)

I went to Curtisfield North and found the key in a chest of drawers in the police station, once the key was on the ground I saw the "E" option to pick it up, however, out of habit I struck it with a mouse click and it vanished. I did go to the prison to see if it was credited to me but unseen, but it prompts me to go find the key.

The keys should be indestructible and invulnerable to damage, so this seems like a bug. Please use the Bug Report Tool (F1) to send a report. It will also automatically send your save file for us to look at.

Thank you very much for the reply, I have res tarted my play thorough not thinking of the bug report. Just making you aware of a problem I had and will provide a report on any further issues.

Really love the game btw!
