Click on the speaker icon in your taskbar and make sure you've selected the right output.
Is the volume level in the game turned up?
Seriously, check all the basics as it's unlikely to be a game issue. Other than that, you'll need to supply a lot more information on what soundcard and speaker set up you have and what sound format you use.
You'll get support here from the devs, but a faster way would be to post on the discord page https://discord.gg/JsksWu2YQH
It does not. I have verified my files 3 times now and there are no file issues causing this, in fact verification has not once found any issues - it just verifies all files and, other than sound not working at all, the game works just fine. It's something else.
Browse to your Dysmantle install directory via Steam.
Find the prog.xml file.
Open up the prog.xml file using edit - just right click and select edit.
Scroll down and find the line that says:
features="_FORCE_ALT_SOUND_IMP,STEAM,DISCORD_BUTTON,....
DELETE the first underscore to make that line read:
features="FORCE_ALT_SOUND_IMP,STEAM,DISCORD_BUTTON,....
then save the file.
Run the game.
