Hi, yes I knew that, but this is a game design "bug", as you should not be able to venture so far without the proper equipment if you can then find yourself unable to get back to the nearest link tower.

in case you haven`t 'stopped and asked why', the topic is about situation where game progress is locked out.
I had the cooling trinket but not the hat - what I am saying is that, under a game design perspective, you should not allow a player to venture so far if you miss an essential piece of gear. I agree that I could wait the night to go back, but it is not an optimal choice if you aim to deliver a nice&friendly gaming experience (I lost 30 mins trying to go back).
