How to Get Machete?

Hi!

I´m level 8 now and have upgraded machete twice, but I still don´t have it? Do I need to find one and if so where could I get one?

If you say you've upgraded your Machete, then you should have it. Try to go through your equipped main weapons, to change them press "1" in the mainscreen by default.
If you want a different set that you can toggle, press the slot in the inventory with LMB to change your weapon load.

I´ve tried switching main weapons. I have the shovel, crowbar and fishing rod but not machete? Maybe it´s a bug? I was thinking maybe I need to craft or find it, but if it should appear in the inventory when you research it then...? Otherwise it seems like a fun game and the devs are Finnish, right? Great to see some Finnish developed games around.

Maybe add a crafting option for tools etc. as a backup if it´s bugged, so if you for some reason don´t get one on unlock, you could craft one later?

You need to go in to the inventory and click one of the three main slots you have a tool equipped in, from there you should be able to change machete to one of the slots. Also, yes, we are a Finnish company.

Ok, that solved it, thank you! So you can have 3 tools in carry at one time? So if you want to go fishing, you might need to switch away the shovel for example?

Correct - right now you can only have 3. But you can change it without going to a camp fire.

You will notice that your secondary (switch by pressing 2) - if you change from pills to something else, it wont refill until you go to a campfire.

But you can always change your primary. So if you only have shovel, machete and crowbar and you run across a lake, you can go into your inventory and swap something else out for a fishing rod, and then vice versa when you are done fishing.
