IMO, for me, the Vive Wands are far better than the Knuckles. The joystick on the knuckles is offset from the on-axis of your thumb, so it is not a natural joystick angle (though maybe time I'll get used to it). Also, with hand and finger tremors that I have, the pad of the Vive is large enough to deal with that issue versus the small pad and small joystick of the Knuckles.
It would have been nice for the developers to turn the orbs to fingers/hands (while using knuckles) and allowed you to pick up Moss. That would have been really cool.
Can you elaborate on this?
What are the controls mapped to on the Index? :)
Are those the only controls in the game? There are no other actions? just three buttons and the direction?
As far as the button mappings with Index, I would say the controls are super intuitive. The most difficult thing is navigating menus, and as they aren't speed sensitive, it works just fine.
