crossplatform xbox and pc

I cannot play with another user cross platform.. I have watched avery youtube video, but I could no find a solution. The private matches do not work for me as it always says that private match could not been found. And adding a friend and inviting him to the match does not work either since its cross platform. Please does anyone has a solution?

When you go to create a party by clicking on the plus inside the main menu, you have to click the create button underneath "Cross-Platform"

From there you should be given a lobby code you can give to whoever you're trying to play with :)

yes, I have already attempted to try it this way which is the only way I believe, but it still does not work because when i click the plus sign and create the private match, it says that the private match does not exist or could not be found. Do you know what should I do in my case?
