Construction set?
Any plans to release the construction set to make levels? An updated version of that would be awesome.

no plans to do a remake of the construction set...

We have had discussions on supporting custom player content creation though... but there's no committment on that front yet.

In my opinion instead of remastering the original Bard's Tale Construction Set it would be better to make entirely new software based on the engine and features of the remastered trilogy. The original BTCS was notorious for its limited customization options and even lacked at least some features added in the third game (such as selectable gender and Chronomancer and Geomancer classes).

I agree with DamoclesAlpha.

The original BT Construction Set wasn't very good at all..

Something tailored to the engine would be the best thing.

A brand new construction set would be awesome. Or at the very least support for custom portraits.

That's a good idea,Custom character Portraits and also custom Monster Portraits as well.That would be great.

I'd like to see a construction set as well. Doesn't have to do anything special -- just releasing the developer tool used to compile the raw data, and a description of the file formats would be fine.

Yeah, I skipped this title because of a lack of one. If they add it I'll buy but doesn't seem likely at this point.

Well, it's not like we can't make changes to the games for ourselves. For me it's more a question if they would mind it if we make changes and make them available. It's technically a copyright matter and different companies have very different views on users sharing files.

That and I've still haven't got around to editing the maps yet. :)
