They promised us steam alpha keys, they've said it will release on steam, not gonna be epic exclusive.
"Notice: At the request of the publisher, Ready Or Not is unlisted on the Steam store and will not appear in search."

So they are still here.
'why did they remove.'
prolly something mundane tbh but can't find a statement on it.
Sorry to break it to you, but I was already pretty sure Epic would nab this one, they'd be stupid not to.
It's the very reason I didn't want to buy the supporter edition until they confirmed the game would release on Steam day one.
Kari is right, expect an Epic Store one year exclusivity annoucement with the usual "Epic will allow us to make our game better" line of BS.
"Will RoN turn into an Epic Games Exclusive?"
"The team has previously stated that they have no plans of making Ready or Not an Epic Games Exclusive."
This is on their FAQ.

Edit: steam key was given me
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
The game hasn't been yanked off of Steam, so it's still arriving towards Steam. And the developers have confirmed they're against the idea of Epic Exclusivity. Epic would need to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ retarded to try to buy a niche indie studio game that's more than likely going to have a small following.
On top of this, to those that purchased the Supporter Edition will be given Steam Keys in order to access the Alpha, coming this month on the 19th, 12:00 AM GMT.
Alpha is in one day and you're already pulling the "IT'S gonNA Be AN Epic ExCluSIve SMH" card.
YIKES
You seemed to miss the part where Epic Games has been dangling cash in front of a lot of developers who know they can't afford to not beak even on a game, in the form of unsolicited contact initiated by Epic themselves.
I'll believe that Void Interactive is against EGS exclusivity for now, but that can easily change in the next few months.
But in all seriousness, I don't see why devs can't just sell their games on different platforms
To my understanding, if you are an independent game dev, there is nothing saying that if you sell a game on Steam, you can't sell the game on other platforms. I do believe Valve does require that anything you sell that happens to be for a game on Steam to be available for purchase on Steam, but that doesn't explicitly state your game must be exclusive to the platform itself.
I'm not against developers selling games on other platforms, just Epic Games and their aggressive push to lock as many games as they can to their own platform via contracts that explicitly state they can't sell on any other platforms for a year, all the while Tim Sweeney tries to play the false messiah card by claiming what they are doing is positive for the industry.
