Possible to transfer gold between players?

Playing with a friend rn and since i'm not the host I can't buy property upgrades. Is there any way I can give him gold?

We're hoping to add a permissions options menu soon that will allow hosts to decide whether guests can buy property upgrades and access the home chests / build / etc.

Guests can place building pieces now, yeah. In the future with permissions we'll leave that decision to the host.

Its really easy to make Gold... you can also share the profit you make from selling things when you play together

The problem is that the money you make is shared between all players. So you get normally 10 Coins for a sold flower and when you play with 2 player every player gets 5 Coins.

Would not be a problem if you could give it to the other player. So that you can purchase the building upgrades like the blacksmith. The blacksmith costs 2500 coins. If both players have 1250 Coins you could buy it when you could give the coins to the other player. But now one of the players has to have the full amount. You see the "problem"?

[Absurd Logic]

You can try buying the 1k or 10k Coin Bag items (or multiples) from Mayor Wilson and give your friend those, and they can activate the bags to receive the same amount. I've shared gold between my own characters that way, placing the bags in a chest and picking them up on the other character. You might have to go to a Story-mode world if the Mayor isn't in Creative, but afaik inventory items can transfer from Story to Creative, so theoretically it should work.

I do not remember much about this game. But I do remember debts, and Sammy had a bad habit of asking for money and never paying back what he owed. I think I outta come back and collect. If 25k coins had an interest of about 11% annually, then two kneecaps seem like a proper first payment, right?
